With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Kooner founded Green Apple Dental to provide Surrey with compassionate, affordable, high-quality dental care. Known for her integrity and gentle approach, she combines advanced technology with continuing education so every visit feels comfortable and modern.
Born and raised in Surrey, she graduated from Queen Elizabeth Senior Secondary, earned her Bachelor of Science at UBC, then completed her Doctorate of Dental Medicine and MBA at Temple University in Philadelphia. Outside the practice she enjoys cooking, jogging, hiking and snowboarding, and is a proud mother of two.

Do you accept CDCP?
Yes. We are welcoming patients with Canadian Dental Care Plan coverage at both Fleetwood and Newton.
Do you offer emergency appointments?
Yes, we reserve same-day emergency slots for tooth pain, swelling, infections and broken teeth. Call us and we will get you in.
Do you see children?
Absolutely. We treat the whole family, from a child’s first visit through to long-term preventative care.
Do you direct bill insurance?
Yes, we direct bill most major insurers so you only pay any remaining balance.
Do you see patients without an appointment?
We do our best to accommodate walk-ins and urgent concerns. Calling ahead means we can prepare for your visit.

Two Surrey clinics: Fleetwood at 8501 162 Street Unit 108, and Newton at 12885 80 Avenue Unit 106.
What are your hours?
Fleetwood: Mon 9am–5pm, Tue–Wed 9am–7pm, Thu 8am–4pm, Fri 9am–4pm, Sat 9am–3pm. Newton: Mon 9am–5pm, Tue 8am–4pm, Wed–Thu 10am–6pm, Fri 9am–5pm, Sat 9am–3pm. Both closed Sunday.
